Minimally Invasive Back Surgery Freed Me From Pain and Medications

July 26, 2017Solomon KamsonAll testimonials, Video

Earl Robinson has been dealing with back injuries since 2006 when he had an ATV accident that nearly killed him. He states that he flat-lined twice and was brought back while he was in the hospital, but the surgeons did not fix his back injuries. Robinson was in constant pain following that on pain medications so that he could return to his job. He lived like that for several years when his lower back began causing him significant pain.

Robinson was scared of getting back surgery because he had heard stories about it from several of his friends and his father who had all undergone it. His back problems became so bad that he thought, “I’ve got to do something because I can’t function anymore.” He subsequently scheduled an appointment with the Spine Institute Northwest.

The team at the Spine Institute Northwest told Robinson about minimally invasive back surgery. He said that his back had gotten so bad that he was not able to climb the stairs other than by taking them one at a time, which made it difficult to climb into the airplanes at his job.

His tests revealed that he only had the use of 7 percent of the nerve that innervated his right leg. The team at the Spine Institute Northwest told Robinson that they couldn’t believe that he was still walking and scheduled him for minimally invasive back surgery with Dr. Solomon Kamson.

Robinson says that when he went in for his appointment, Dr. Kamson performed the procedure, and Robinson was able to go home later the same day. While he says that he felt sore after the surgery, he said it was only a muscle soreness.

Robinson says, “Now, I’m thousands percent better than where I was before.”

He says that he is very glad that he came to the Spine Institute Northwest and received minimally invasive back surgery. Robinson says that Dr. Kamson tells him not to push it because he’s not fully healed. He tries to follow Dr. Kamson’s advice, but he still tries to push it sometimes. When he does, his body tells him that he is not ready and so he listens so that he does not re-injure himself.

Robinson tries to tell anyone with back problems about the Spine Institute Northwest. He tells people who are relying on pain medications that the drugs are killing them and recommends that they get help at the Spine Institute Northwest.

“For people who are in pain and who are trying to deal with it with drugs, the drugs are killing you. Go to the Spine Institute Northwest to get help.”
